Pledge to Clients: I always ask my clients what expectations they have of their real estate professional? Is it a timely response to their communication, being available to preview properties, arranging consultations with important stakeholders in the transaction; e.g., lenders, creditors, banks, credit reporting bureaus, escrow and title companies, or is it simply the peace of mind knowing you have someone on your team with nearly 25 years of real estate experience? The pledge I make to my clients is to begin our working relationship with an honest and legitimate discussion about each others expectations. I believe establishing this framework allows everyone to understand their part in the evolution of the transaction.

Professional Experience: I have been one of the Managing Brokers of Coldwell Banker for nearly 25 years. I am a Vietnam veteran of two Western Pacific tours and I understand the complexities of relocating for military families. I pride myself on my knowledge and abilities to help those family's transition easily.

Education: I am a graduate of Western Washington University with a BA in Elementary Education and a Washington State Teaching Certificate K-8. Often times, you will find me instructing at our local South Kitsap High School.

Outside Interests: I am a member of the Kitsap Aviation Squadron, the oldest and longest continuously operating flying club west of the Mississippi. I enjoy motorcycling, SCUBA diving, & touring the USA in my restored Volkswagen Westfalia

Personal Information: Originally from Minnesota, I have called Kitsap County, and specifically Port Orchard, home for 35 years. I raised two boys who both attended schools in the South Kitsap School District, and who served in the United States Navy & Army. I maintained close parental involvement in my children's growth and education through participation in many school functions and extra-curricular activities, i.e. field trips, school dances, classroom volunteering, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and as a special volunteer with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Cadet/Explorer program. Additionally, I was an assistant coach on both my son's local Little League teams, and actively participated during their youth basketball camps. I am active bereavement and respite volunteer for Hospice of Kitsap County
